We're excited to have your player join BISA! Here's a quick list of what you'll need to get started.

Shin guards - Must be worn under the socks for safety

Socks - Long enough to fully cover shin guards

Soccer cleats - No baseball or football cleats (soccer cleats don't have a toe cleat)

Ball - Size depends on age group: 

• U4-U8: Size 3
• U9-U12: Size 4
• U13 and up: Size 5

Uniforms - Uniform details will be chosen by the coach. Parents are responsible for up to $45 on uniform cost. 

Practice & Games - Coaches will share practice days, times and field locations once teams are formed. Games are typically played on Saturdays from 9AM-4:30PM. Occasionally on Sunday from 1:30PM-4:30PM or a weekday 5:30-6:30PM. U4-U8(2022-2018) play all games in Burleson. U9 and up (2017-2007) play games in Burleson and travel to other associations for games.

Teams are formed based on age divisions to ensure players compete with others similar age and skill level players. All players are placed on teams through a random draft process. We do not accept coach or team request - this helps keep soccer fair, balanced, and fun for everyone. 

Age guidelines: 

• Players may play up one age bracket if desired
• Players are not allowed to play down in a younger division - NO EXCEPTIONS

Friend Request:

• If your player is new to BISA and has never played before, they may request to be placed with a friend. 
• Friend requests are not guaranteed and may not be honored if - The requested team is already full, the player is needed to fill a roster on another team, the player is not new to BISA.

Please note that ride share request cannot be accommodated. Our goal is to create a positive, fair, and community-centered environment for all players while keeping teams balanced and enjoyable.

Our Board of Directors are all volunteers. We will do our best to answer back within 48 hours. If you do not receive a response please send another message. At the beginning of the season a lot of emails are sent and occasionally some are missed. It is not our intent to ignore any email.
