Thank you for stepping up to coach a team! Your time and effort make a huge impact—not only on your team, but on many families across our league. We couldn’t be successful without our amazing coaches and supportive families! Don't worry if you haven't coached before or even played, we will get you on the right path to coaching a youth team!

North Texas Soccer requires that all coaches and assistant coaches have a background check and SafeSport training once a year. All background checks and SafeSport training expire on May 31st, returning coaches will only need to renew background and SafeSport training on the 31st of May every year.

How to Register as a Coach

Step 1: Visit our website and look at the top menu. You’ll see tabs like Home, About, and more.

Step 2: Hover over Registration, then click Spring Coach Registration.

Step 3: Scroll down and click Register Now — this will take you to GotSport.

Step 4: If you’re a returning coach, log in using your existing GotSport account.
If you’re a new coach, create a new GotSport account.

Step 5: Once logged in, you’ll follow the prompts to complete your coach registration. You can also register your child under the same login to keep everything in one place.

Complete Your Requirements

Step 7: After registering, head back to GotSport. Along the top of the page, click Dashboard.

Step 8: In your Requirements section, you’ll need to:

Submit your Background Check
Complete the SafeSport Training

Step 9: Once both are finished, you’ll see your progress listed as 26/27 fulfilled or expired. When a green “Fulfilled” box appears under the current year, you’re officially cleared and ready to coach!
